We are seeking an energetic and forward-thinking professional to join our Information Technology group in Branchburg, New Jersey. As a Specialist in the Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) Finance team, you will be focused on advancing our finance data platform, enabling visibility into financial results for analysis and decision making.

The candidate will work with business teams to elicit requirements and functional design components to align with the build-out of the roadmap and capabilities of the financial data platform.  The candidate will work with the systems development resources to ensure requirements are understood and translated into a technical design.  The candidate will coordinate testing activities, including unit testing, system integration testing, and functional testing, as needed.  The candidate will work with business team members on User Acceptance Testing, to ensure requirements have been met.  The candidate will ensure requirements and testing documentation are in compliance with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) needs.  The candidate should have experience in Agile methodologies.

  • 5 + years’ with Finance processes and applications.

  • Works in a cross-functional squad to own and to assist co-creation of user-centric solutions to deliver business impact

  • Work collectively with designers, SMEs and Technical Product Owner while user stories are developed, bringing input and helping with the testing approach

  • Write and help others write test cases

  • Perform acceptance test of user stories on a day-to-day basis

  • Perform and/or lead end-to-end tests in relation to larger releases with external stakeholders

  • Assist in driving the squad’s test strategy and test efforts, e.g. taking the initiative to automate where possible and coaching others

  • Supports the process during test periods where functionality is tested across several squads and departments

  • Be an active participant in backlog grooming and planning, to ensure acceptance criteria are testable

  • Helps craft Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) for the product

  • Write backlog user stories, focusing on technical requirements

Extent of Travel



  • B.A./B.S. in Accounting, Finance, Business, IT or equivalent.

  • Advanced degree a plus.

  • Has delivered digital solutions

  • Software development and knowledge of an Agile software development process

  • Has written and automated test cases

  • Problem-solving mindset – gets things fixed not simply discovered

  • Agile / Scrum Methodologies

  • HP/ ALM testing tool

  • JIRA work/issue management tool

  • Remedy issue tracking tool

  • Strong social skills, with demonstrated ability to work as part of both physical and virtual teams.

  • Adept at comprehending internal customer challenges, navigating from problem to resolution, and conveying the resolution effectively, both verbally and in writing.

  • Ability to interact comfortably with all levels of management and peers.

  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time
